专辑介绍:
       最终幻想IX’（FINAL FANTASY IX、简称：FFIX）是2000年7月7日由史克威尔（SQUARE）发布的角色扮演游戏。是最终幻想系列的第9部作品。本作的主题为‘原点回归’。除了角色头身回到VI以前的大小以及作为世界基础的水晶这一概念的复活以外，对媒体情报也带来了巨大影响。 主题歌由白鸟英美子所唱。

本作品在图像方面被认为是充分利用了Playstation性能到界限，是Playstation至此之前为止图像最好的作品。音乐的数量为137首，是最终幻想系列中最多的一作。 另外或许是由于‘原点回归’这一主题的关系，过去最终幻想系列曾经登场的角色、地名、音乐也在本作品出现，另外某个地方出现了‘最终幻想II’的场景。
相比前作最终幻想VIII在日本362万套的销售量，本作品在日本只有285万套。 但在国外却缔造了销售佳绩，让FF系列更加的扬名国际；曾经有一段时间风传在PS2上重新制作FF7、8，但目前已经被中止。
